A dinner in complete darkness is already a unique experience to share with friends and family. For a special occasion such as a birthday, the Birthday Package adds a few extra surprises to make the evening even more memorable.

Available for €15 per booking, the Birthday Package complements the dinner and gives everyone the opportunity to take part in some of the surprises.

✨ Put your sense of smell to the test

When you cannot rely on your eyes, your other senses take on a different importance. The Birthday Package includes a fragrance challenge to enjoy around the table. Several scents are presented to the group, who must try to identify them without relying on their sense of sight.

After the dinner, a scratch card reveals the answers. A chance to compare everyone's guesses – and perhaps discover that recognising familiar scents is not always as easy as it seems!

💌 A message to discover in Braille

The birthday guest also receives a card specially created for the occasion. A message is written in Braille on the card. An alphabet is provided so that the group can try to decipher it together.

This little puzzle naturally ties in with the Dans le Noir ? experience and gives the birthday guest a unique keepsake to take home after the evening.

🎂 A sweet treat to mark the occasion

A birthday calls for a little something special. The birthday guest receives a sweet treat prepared especially for the occasion, to discover and enjoy during the dinner in complete darkness.

A simple gesture that adds a celebratory touch to the meal and makes the evening feel that little bit more special.

✍️ Keep a few words from the evening

Shared experiences often leave plenty to talk about. The Birthday Package also includes a black envelope designed to hold a few memories of the evening. Before leaving, guests can write a message, a personal note or a few words for the birthday guest.

A pen is provided so that everyone can leave their own little contribution.

Once personalised, the envelope can be taken home as a reminder of the evening spent together in Marseille.

The Birthday Package does not stop you from preparing a surprise of your own. You can bring a small gift for the birthday guest and ask our team to hand it over during the dinner. If the size of the gift allows, it can be discreetly given to the birthday guest in the dark, keeping the surprise until the very last moment.
